Throughout all my life experiences, I have always stayed deeply attached to my Haitian roots. I left Haiti to come to Canada when I was still a teenager, but a part of me has always stayed there. After the 2010 earthquake that took the life of so many people, I strongly felt the need to do my part and help the people of Haiti get back on their feet. With my music and its message of hope and compassion, I believe I can make a difference by spreading awareness of the ongoing struggle that Haitians still face. The struggle is far from over, and yet I still believe in the legendary resilience of the people of Haiti.

All my life, I have been dedicated to my number one passion: music. I started my career singing French classics and traditional Haitian songs, but I finally ended up writing and singing my own songs. The ongoing plight of my motherland has been a constant source of inspiration, and I believe my message of courage, faith, and determination will be in part, help the people of Haiti persevere in their efforts to rebuild the Black Pearl of the Caribbean.

My music truly represents me and my beliefs. Hopefully, I wish to lift the spirits and open the hearts of all by spreading the message of love, compassion, resilience, and solidarity. I remember being so touched by all the solidarity efforts of 2010 when many wanted to help Haitians get through the aftermath of that disastrous earthquake. Unfortunately, much more needs to be done as the quality of life has deteriorated in Haiti. I believe this is a worldwide responsibility and that with your help I will be able to do my part.

If I can encourage one person or one hundred people to contribute to the Haitian cause, I will have achieved my goal.

Depuis toujours, j'ai gardé un attachement profond pour Haïti. Je l'ai quitté étant jeune mais mon cœur y est toujours resté. Après la catastrophe de 2010, cet énorme tremblement de terre qui a coûté la vie à tant de personnes, j'ai toujours voulu faire ma part pour les aider à s'en sortir. C'est par ma musique je crois, que je peux faire une petite différence et sensibiliser le plus grand nombre à ce combat qui est loin d'être terminé pour le peuple haïtien. Bien qu'il y ait beaucoup de travail à faire, je crois en la résilience du peuple haïtien.

Toute ma vie a toujours été dédiée au domaine artistique. J’ai débuté ma carrière en chantant les classiques de la chanson française et les chants folkloriques d’Haïti et avec le temps, j’ai commencé à écrire mes propres compositions. En examinant ce qui se passe en Haïti, j’envisage que le peuple a besoin d’espoir, de solidarité, de persévérance, d’amour et d’endurance afin de rebâtir « la perle noire des Caraïbes ». Je crois que le temps est venu pour raviver le cœur des gens avec le message de courage, de foi et de détermination, présente dans mes compositions. Ce processus créatif me permet d’exprimer mes valeurs et mes convictions en les exprimant à travers ma passion pour la musique.

Mes messages d'amour, de compassion, de résilience sauront certainement raviver l'esprit d'entraide qui existait en 2010 face à l'ampleur de cette catastrophe. Le combat n'est pas terminé, au contraire, les problèmes s'amplifient et c'est notre responsabilité à tous d'agir. J'ai toujours voulu faire une différence et c'est grâce à vous tous que j'y parviendrai.

Si grâce à vous j’arrive à sensibiliser une personne ou des centaines de personnes à faire un don pour Haïti, j'aurai fait ma part.
